NISSAN:NIisan:oNIisan【name2】

5)NISSAN is not family name

NISSAN’s Ni is Nihon’s Ni.
にほん=Nihon means Japan.
日産=NISSAN=ニッサン=にっさん
日本=niHOn=Japan=にほん

Do you remember ほん=HON?///CF.Name1
Yes,nihon’s hon is HONDA=本田’s HONほん.

(1)book
(2)real/original

日 means 晴れの日のマークのイラスト.
In this case, does にほん=NIHON’s hon mean(1) or(2)?
So NIHON=Japan means <the original place of sun>=east.

Ex.アメリカのフォード。にほんの にっさん。
America no Ford. Nihon no Nissan.  American Ford. Japanese Nissan.

NISSAN’s san does not mean Mr.or Ms. or polite marker but industry(It is not used independetly).

Can you change a double consonant to long vowel?
NIisan=elder brother

さん=San is suffix. Like ちゃん=chan(あかちゃん=akachan’s chan sounds cute. Aka means red. Aka-chan means something little,cute red one.Yes,newborn babies are red,aren’t they?)

あかちゃん=aka-chan

さん=San means Mr.or Ms or polite marker. It is a customary to call people’s names followed by an honorific title, “san” for courtesy.
So you  have NO chance to add<san>to your own name.Both in peaking,writing.

But we often add <o>prefix before NIisan.

妹と弟を可愛がるお兄さんのイラスト

NISSAN-NIisan-oNIisan

おにいさん=o-NIi-san=<your> elder brother(in formal. For beginners like you can use this word for <my> elder brother,too)

Mery-san no hitsuji,hitsuji,hitsuji.
Mery-san no hitsuji wa kawaii ne.

Londo-bashi ochita,ochita,ochita.
Londo-bashi ochita. o-joo-san.

Maybe you are called <your name>san by Japanese in most of the cases.
If you are called with <san>,the other side respect you,so you should add <san> after other’s name,too and <desu> the end of the sentences.
If the other one is a teacher,you will call him or her ___sensei/sensee.

San is polite marker for name and desu is polite marker for the sentences to add last of them.

ふじさんです!
Fuji-san desu!=That is a Mt.Fuji!
San in this case is another<san>means Mt.

san=(1)Mr.Ms. ((2))industry (3)Mt. But if you ask Japanese”what is san?” They will be”san is 3! Like 1,2,3!いち、に、さん!”

Japanese pronunciation is very easy and simple.
It has only five vowels and so many homophones!

And<o>is polite marker,too, but add not the end of the noun but top of the noun.Like…

おすし=o-SUshi=sushi
おすしやさん=o-SUSHIYA-SAn=sushi bar
おさしみ=sashimi
おべんとう=bento,lunch box
おもち=rice cake
おそば=soba noodles
おさけ=o-SAKE=sake
おみそしる=miso soup
おみず=oMIZU=water
おゆ=oYU=hot water
おちゃ=o-CHA=tea
おはし=oHAshi=chop sticks
おとうふ=oTOOHU
おまつり=oMATSURI=festival
おかね=o-KANE=money【kaNE means bell in the temple)
鐘撞き堂
おつり=oTSULI=change【tsuri means fishing)
おかねもち=oKANE-mochi=rich
おとうさん=0-TOo-san=(your)father
おかあさん=o-KAa-san=(your)mother
おねえさん=o-NEe-sn=(your)elder sister
おじいさん=0-JIi-san=(your)grand father
おばあさん=0-BAa-san=(your)grand mother

You can use above words without<o> but please don’t delete.(SaSHIMI, Mizu,Tofu are used without <o> 40% but I recommend adding one)

I use both following one.

おやすみ=oYASUMI=brake,holiday
おたんじょうび=birthday
おしごと=work

I use さいふ・うち words but following are kind of brand name.

おさいふ けいたい
おうちじかん

Caution!
Don’t add<o> to all the nouns.The words you can add are limited!–like Ramen,gyoza,edamame,yakisoba,sukiyaki,tempura,shabushabu,teriyaki,yakitori,sukiyaki,hibachi etc.are impossible to add.In this moment,remember in this page.
Normally Japanese textbook choose sushi instead of oSUshi BUT it’s really strange(I counted the vocabulary of the most famous Japanese Youtuber’s sushi party.They say more than 90% osushi word.And young lady who speaks desu masu level ALWAYS add o).

You can NOT delete<o>in the following case.
おはよう(ございます)=oHAYOO(GOZAIMAs)=Good morning
おめでとう(ございます)=oMEDETOO(GOZAIMAs)=Congratulations
おやすみ(なさい)=oYASUMI(NASAi)=Good night
おかえり(なさい)=oKAERI(NASAi)=Welcome to home
おねがい(します)oNEGAI(SHIMAs)=Please
おつかれさま(です/でした)=oTSUKALESAMA(des/deshita):Hello in the office
おて=oTE=Paw!【If there is no<o>,te means hand)
おすわり=oSUWAri=Sit! for your pet.
おなか=oNAKA=belly,stomach【If you delete<o>,NAka means inside/in)
おにぎり=oNIGIRI=rice ball【If you remove o,niGILI means one kind of sush
おこのみやき=oKONOMIYAKI=There is no word without<o>=Japanese pizz
おまわりさん=oMAwarisan=cop
おすすめ=oSUSUME=recommendation
おかわり=oKAwari=refill

おたく=oTAKU is a special word but otaku’s o is also  this kind of  polite marker. It means<you(o means your. taku means house)>but the usage is difficult.My house means<jiTAKU>.

What do you think are the differences between Japanese and people from other countries?

Politeness.

Japanese bow even in the talking on the telephone.
Japanese use respect form even in the middle of their fightings.

How many % people speak <f***ing><s**t>in US?
To speak without polite marker such as<o><san><desu><(gozai)masu><kudasai>sounds just like<f***ing>level.
